THE LEATHERMAN WARRANTY
WHAT DOES THE LEATHERMAN 25-YEAR WARRANTY COVER?
Leatherman’s warranty covers only the original primary owner and does not cover abuse, alteration, theft, loss or unauthorised and/or unreasonable use of a Leatherman product. This warranty does not cover sheaths, accessories, imprinting, colour finishes, cleaning or sharpening.
WILL MY TOOL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED?
We can repair some items. If we cannot repair a faulty item, we will replace it with a factory fully-refurbished tool. This service ensures a quick turn around.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE RETURNED TOOL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BUT THE MODEL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE?
We will replace the returned tool with an equivalent model.
WHAT IF THE RETURNED TOOL HAS SENTIMENTAL VALUE?
If we cannot repair the tool, we will contact you with the available options. One option is to send the sentimental or engraved tool to the Leatherman factory in Oregon USA for repair. This service takes approximately 3 months and incurs a freight cost. This can be discussed after the tool has been assessed.
WHERE DO I SEND MY FAULTY LEATHERMAN?
You can return the tool directly to us, or via your local Leatherman retailer. If sending directly to us, download our Warranty Submission Form here and send both the tool and the form to:

Please note: we highly recommend sending your warranty item to us via courier. In the case of NZ Post this means you will need to upgrade from their standard tracked post service to courier. If you do choose to send via post, please expect the processing of your warranty claim to take an additional 2 weeks.
